Instagram Launches Create Mode
Instagram has added a new Stories feature called Create that helps users make new layouts for their Stories posts. Replacing the former Type mode in stories, the Create option now appears in along the bottom of a user’s screen when he or she goes to upload a Stories post. Once a user is in Create mode, there are even more options to choose from! The features don’t have names and are simply represented by symbols, but among them is the ability to create text, layouts, polls, quizzes, and even post from a user’s archives. One of the most talked-about tools in Create mode is the “On This Day” option, which was previously featured only in the Archive section of a user’s account. Now users can head straight to Stories to show off what they did five years ago instead of navigating through other menus within the app.
